So what's in a name?

Updated: Jan 9

So what's in the name?

I have been asked many times about the name of my clinic- Myrtle Health. So just to give you a little background, my grandmother’s name was Ruby Myrtle. She was very resourceful and did not waste much of anything. From her I learned to garden, can vegetables, make bread and jelly. I also saw her do some unusual things or I thought unusual at the time. She would not throw out her vegetable liquid, she would drink it. She also made some unusual recipes, or I thought they were unusual at the time but by today's standards they would be considered very healthy.

My grandmother lived to be 95 years old in relatively good health. So when I began to think about my clinic, my vision was to have a clinic where I could treat patients in a more natural and holistic way, so my grandmother’s teaching and way of life was my inspiration for creating my clinic.

So that is where my clinic name came from- Myrtle Health.
